highrollerhair.com – online
See a pattern emerging here? Here’s a site that went online recently, we’re pretty excited to see where this all goes, and the lady behind it I think has a great concept going here. This will be an ongoing project, expanding the site into it’s planned state, and lets see what happens after that.. good luck to Emma, check out the site and get in touch with her! www.highrollerhair.com

Another quick one about sites I’ve been working on. I’ve been working with Mo for a while now on Anglomania and other projects (more of which I’m sure will be the topic of discussion later), and as a promotional tool for some of the work I’ve put together www.mosow.co.uk

Just a quick update, I’m working with a company called Glamoo at the moment, doing some of their online graphics. We’ve got a bunch of plans for things we’ll be doing in the next 3-4 weeks but have a look.

The recent international release of James’ latest book - Savile Row: The Master Tailors of British Bespoke. The UK launch was held at The Savoy Hotel on The Strand was a bit of a who’s who of the Savile Row scene. I saw many familiar faces from my years in and around Savile Row, and the book itself is beautiful.

so not like I’m a professional photographer by trade, but it does sometimes come up in the process of making websites, and of course having a hobby isn’t a bad thing either…

due to the buzz around Grace Woodward, Britain’s Next Top Model and the X-Factor there’s been a bit of a lack of updates since she’s been working pretty much non stop for 3 months (I have too)…

This Sunday just gone (19th December 2010) I managed to squeeze enough time to put the finishing touches to the first launch of www.brew-cafe.com Jason, the owner is very open to ideas and we had a good amount of fun and brainstorming during this project. Is tumblr the new twitter?
These feeds are so easy to embed, why use wordpress?!

I don’t wanna replace my mouse.. But the double click seems broken..
Note to self..
Make an effort to attend as many open source software, web dev, Facebook dev, any dev and design events and conferences, inevitably meet nice and interesting people, sometimes useful people.. After 8 years it’s still important to network, maybe more so now..

We’re at the diner, retro milk!
iphone data open
so sounds like there’s something going on with logging wifi and gps data on iphones and ipads, of course there’s going to be the usual uproar, but you know maybe it’s kinda cool. What could you do with all that location data?
Well .. a couple of fun ideas, how about a real life stumbleupon where you get suggested streets you’ve never been to, or even what’s there that’s similar to places you have been. I guess thats possible without the live GPS tracking, but who really checks in everywhere they go?
I think I foursquare only at restaurants and cafe’s, and the odd techy event because the foursquare iphone app is easier to slap a picture and caption on than a blog or facebook.. that is of course until tumblr came into my life…

So I’m waiting for the wife to come along and go to the gym in town, it’s 10.30pm, there’s a 24hr fitness first right here. Just having a mint tea to kill some time
The Facebook developer garage was interesting tonight, talks on gamification and scaling popular sites by Pop cap and playfish. Very interesting, turning the world into a game and why it needs more consideration than action.
